When mygreat grandfather Hugh Joseph Connell (anc) was born on January 1, 1867, in Crossakeel, Meath, Ireland, his father, Patrick, was 36 and his mother, Margaret, was 30. He married Johanna Rose Walsh (anc) on January 8, 1891, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. They had seven children in 17 years. His 3rd child and 2nd daughter was my grandmother Kathleen Rose Connell born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He died on February 2, 1912, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 45, and was buried in Hillside, Illinois.
