Hi Folks, I am searching for the descendents of Edmund Walsh and Mary Walsh (her maiden name) from Tullabeg
Their daughter was my GGGrandmother Mary who married William Nolan in 1853 in the Parish of Ballybunnion RC.
Trying to find any information on my 2 G Grandfather Hugh Mooney. He married Sarah Egan born 1841 in Offaly. They had three children born in Offaly with their eldest son named William born 1864 (perhaps Hugh's father's name?). They emigrated to Canada around 1865 and settled in the Kingston, Ontario area and had 8 more children.
I unfortunately do not have any info on his parents or siblings, not for lack of trying! Would greatly appreciate any info or help.
I am trying to locate information about the Fitzpatrick Family who were in Kilbeggen, Westmeath in the early to mid 1800's. I have no oral history of this family beyond The father and mothers name which was on a maggiage certificate for William F. Fitzpatrick ( b 14 Sept 1844 ) and Eliza Ainsworth ( b1860 in Shorpshire, UK ) Married July 4 1885. They were RC.and I got a message that there was a match in Kilbeggen RC.
Hey all, I'm trying to get information to get an Irish passport. Unfortunately my great-grandfather passed away a long time ago before I got the information, and my father doesn't know the information I am needing.
He was born on January 15, 1908 (my dad guesses the year?!), name James A (Alfonse) King
The information I found that might be him is from the National Archives:
Searching for info on a Patrick Brennan, Killeevan townland of Racaulfield. He would be my GGGranfather. He was a farmer and died between 1883-1899. Wife's name unknown. His children: Edward b. 1846-48 a Mary Ann b. 1848-53.
There was also a Michael, Rose, Kate and maybe a Patrick jr.,
Edward left for London early 1870s, married and died there. Mary Ann also left for London early 1880s.
Ann McGee emigrated from County Tyrone to South Australia on the ship Lismoyne in 1855. Her father's name is John McGee. The only Ann McGee, daughter of John, born around the right time (1830 -1836) was baptised on 20 Jan 1836 in Ballinderry. For the Ann baptised on that date, her mother's name was Jane Morris and the family address was listed as Belagherty. This information came from www.rootsireland.ie
My great x2 grandmother, Elizabeth McLinden, born in 1840, came to Australia on the first Potato Famine ship, the Earl Grey. Her parents were Hnery (Harry) and Sally Ann, both of whom were supposedly deceased when Elizabeth was sent to the Banbridge Workhouse. Henry was a cabinet maker, and had a warehouse in Bridge Road in 1842/3. That's all the information I have about the family.
I would love any information about Henry and Sally Ann. Unfortunately I do not have Sally Ann's maiden name. I know they worshipped at the Church of Ireland.
