My father Patrick Hayes was born and grew up in Toremore, Kilcummin in Kerry. The Hayes family still live in the area.
My grandfather John Hayes died in 1959 and is buried in the Cemetery at Kilcummin. I can't find a birth date or details of his parents. If anyone is researching this tree could you help me.
Ellen Crowe was born in 1840 in Cork, Ireland. Her parents were Edward & Mary nee Weekes both born in Cork.
Mary was christened on the 27 December 1795 in Mallow Parish.
Mary's parents were Henry & Elizabeth Weekes.
Ellen married Patrick O'Donnell we think about 1859 before leaving for Australia.

I am researching a Catherine Kendrigan who was murdered in Loughrea in 1853. Her murderer was subsequently captureed and hung for his crime. None of the newspaper accounts, of the murder, I have been able to access from Australia provide the names of Catherine's parents. I was thrilled to find a death record of my ancestor Ross McKenna on the rootsireland website last night. The record shows that he died in the Parish of Aghaloo in 1868 aged 53. His address and the address of the informant (William McKenna - who I believe to be his son) is Killydreen.
Killydreen is a townland in the Parish in Errigal Truagh Co. Monaghan - not far from the border of Co Tyrone.
What I would like to find out now is which church (Roman Catholic) or graveyard he would have been buried in.
Hello and thank you. I have been to all of the sites I can find and can't locate additional information, I hope you can help.

My g-grandfather, Denis Minogue (1845-1930) left Ireland to New York from Queenstown in 1866. I know he spent some time in Dublin before he emigrated. I have no parent names and only know of one brother, Daniel Minogue (1849-1915) and a half sister known as Ann Hogan (Mrs. Hogan). I know that Mrs. Hogan remained in Ireland and that Daniel also immigrated to the US. Other family members have been told that ALL the Minogues must be related but once they arrived in the US, none of them seemed to talk about their previous lives.
