We have become quite used to using certain terms when speaking to each other. Often, however, others may not know what we mean when we use them. So, we have decided to create a glossary of terms that we commonly use at Ireland Reaching  Out to help you.

Ireland XO:
This is the short name that we use for "Ireland Reaching Out". The XO represents a few different things for us:

• Reaching Out
• Crossing Over
• Kisses and Hugs

VPP:
VPP stands for "Virtual Parish Presence". It is your parish's presence on Ireland XO, like a website within a website. It contains information about your parish, your parish's latest news, genealogical information, historical pages - basically, it's your "Parish's Presence" in a "Virtual" world.
