You are very welcome to the Ireland Reaching Out parish of Dysert Co Clare.
The 1821-1851 census returns were almost destroyed in a fire, the 1861-1891 census returns were destroyed by the Government. The 1901-1911 census returns are available on line free of charge on line on the National Archives of Ireland website.
O'Dea Castle is an irish fortified tower house, loosely described as a castle, at Dysert O'Dea ( Dísert, meaning "hermitage"), It was built between 1470 and 1490 by Diarmaid O'Dea, Lord of Cineal Fearmaic, and stands some 50 feet high on a limestone outcrop base measuring 20 feet by 40 feet.
