Thursday 21st June – Sunday 1st July – Week of Welcomes to welcome Irish diaspora home to the parish of Knockainey/Lough Gur. This event is being organised by both Lough Gur Development and Knockainey Community Council. Check back for more information on itinerary in the near future.

Week of Welcomes Itinerary
Just wondering if we can get a tentative itinerary for the main events or gatherings. For those of us coming from overseas and travelling further it is difficult to make bookings if we can't make it for the entire week of welcomes. I have three nights set aside for the week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) but could change this until later if that's when the main events will take place

Okay, so looks like the Lough Gur activities start at 7.00pm on Thursday night 28th June and conclude on Sunday with final farewells on Monday 2nd July
