Has anyone ever ordered a Civil marriage record (Long Form) around 1868? I have the Register marriage record (short form) for the couple but I don't know if getting the Long-Form will have any additonal information back in 1868. I know the Long form is good for those marriages in the 1900's but I don't know if the forms content was the same in the 1800's.
And does anyone know if I can order the long form from the District, ie. Ballina, that it was created. Or must I go through Roscommon?
Thanks in advance.

Hello again!
The request would go to GRO in Roscommon. https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx
I don't think you would get any more info on the long form.
