I recently found that my 2 great grandfather married Ellen Gleeson in February. Of 1851 in O'Calloghan's Mills, County Clare. Can anyone expand on these findings?

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Here is the link to the page that has marriage records around February 1851 for O'Callaghan Mills RC church. I searche and could not find the record (always possible I missed the record). What information do you have that indicates that the marriage was in O'Callaghan Mills in February 1851? Thanks.

  • I just stumbled upon this on Ancestry.com.

Dennis Hayes / Ellen Gleeson marriage Feb. 1850

    O'Callaghan's Mills, Clare, Ireland

    Diocese of Killaloe

    National Library of Ireland

    Microfilm 02476/09

This shows her witness, Connor Gleeson , living in Snatha?

  • Ok thanks for clarifying it was 1850. Ellen Gleeson lived in Crag townland Kilseily civil parish. It looks like Denis possibly lived in Killaderry townland in the same parish.Connor Gleeson lived in Snaty townland same parish. Not sure where Mary Mullins lived.
