The father of Mary Ann Gibbons could be either Patrick Evans or Manasseh (Manafass) Gibbons. On her Australian Marriage Certificate the name of Patrick Evans appears and on her Death Certificate it is Manasseh Gibbons. Her mother is listed as Rebecca McBride on both certificates. Also on both certificates it says she was born in Londonderry Ireland. Mary Ann arrived in Victoria, Australia in January 1850 on board the "Diadem". The passenger list shows her age as 17, her occupation as housemaid, religion as Church of Rome and she can read.
Mary Ann married Virgil Sydney Burnett who was American on 22 March 1855 in Beechworth Victoria. He died in 1857. She remarried James Warrell who was from Donegal Ireland on 25 January 1958.
Mary Ann Warrell died on 3 March 1912.

I had a look in the 1831 census for County Londonderry and I didn’t find either a Manasseh Gibbons or a Patrick Evans. There was a Bernard and an Edward Gibbon in Londonderry (both families were RC). That was the closest.
You don’t say whether Mary Anne came from the city or the county. (I assume you don’t know). If she came from the city and was RC, I have checked for her baptism on Ancestry but she isn’t shown. However the RC parish records have a gap in them at the time of her birth. Long Tower RC baptisms in Londonderry cover 1823 – 1826 and then 1836 onwards, so the records for around the time she was born are lost. So that may explain why we can't find her.
I searched for Rebecca McBride marriages (to anyone) around that time but without success.

Thank you for all your efforts in trying to find information on my Mary Ann. I thought it would be hard so am not surprised that you could not find her or her parents. But it was worth a try. I will just add her to my numerous brick wall entries!!
