I am trying to locate Patrick O'Brien Born about 1831 native of County Kildare . He married Mary Anne Eacrett born 1829 in Ballybrittas Lea Parish. He family lived there for some time and her father Michael Eacret was a shop keeper. They immigrated to Canada in 1853. Any info would be greatly appreiciated.

    Hello again!

I searched Roots Ireland for all of Ireland and did not locate a O'brien marriage to an Eacret.  What was the religious denomination of the couple? Likely they were married in the bride's parish. The RC records for that area would be on Roots and the parish is Portarlington.

If the couple was non-RC and since the marriage was after 1844, a civil record should exist but I did not locate a record for Mary Anne although there were records for other Eacrets in the Mountmellick registration district-- William 1854 Sarah 1854 Eliza 1846 Michael 1846.
