Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Please provide more specifics about Patrick Smith and Eliza Brady from Stradone. Were they husband and wife? There is no marriage in the 1870s for a Patrick Smith and Eliza Brady.

I found the following on Familysearch.
There are births between 1873 and 1879. There is also a possible match for an unnamed male with the same parent names but born in 1864 in Dublin.

There seem to be a lot of Smith families around Stradone and lots of repeated names.
You need to identify your couple's marriage date and get their certificate and hopefully they will have divulged their parents' names.
I read on a site earlier about a list of Catholic records on findmypast genealogy but you have to join and seems rather expensive to me.
I have also just found a notice on From-Ireland.net that the National Library of Ireland were going to put Irish Roman Catholic Parish Records on line in the Summer of 2015. The oldest set of Cavan records is 1752. It seems they have just put 22 entries which are all baptisms for 1876 to 1881. try http://www.nli.ie/en/parish-register.aspx The townland of Stradone is in the Barony of Upper Loughtee and the Civil Parish of Lara(g)h. I guess it will take some time to get them indexed etc. You could try writing to the Parish Priest to see if they will help.
Have you seen if they appear on early Census fragments?
Good look with your research
