Looking for information on Joshua Faulkner, born Aug 21, 1821. Lists father as William and mother as Jane on a marriage license in Canada...shows up in Canada on the 1851 census.

Have you already tried rootsireland.ie or familysearch.org to see if you can find a marriage record for William and Jane or a baptism for Joshua?
If you can locate such a record it could provide details of a parish in Cavan. Have you had any luck locating a marriage record in Canada for Joshua or a death record for his parents?
Do you know what religion they were? There are some early records available for Church of Ireland parishes in Cavan (record availability it will depend on the parish).
