Michael Murray My Uncle , was a Taxi Driver, lived at 27 Winters Hill in Cork. According to the Family he was never married. His death certificate 1941 age36 from Mercy Hospital (Cork) stated that he was married. It was said that his Daughter was born when he was 34 (1939). She passed away when she was 2 (1941) His daughter is buried in the family Plot at St. Joseph cemetery Cork ( I don’t have her first name). The only information I have on the Mother is that she went by the name Queenie.
N.B. The original Headstone was changed in 1992. None of the information was transferred to the new Headstone.

Hi Mike,
The only thing I was able to find was a marriage of a Michael Murray born 25-Jan-1905 in Carrigtwohill who married a Hanna Josephine Wakefield at St Patricks Cork on 2nd February 1930.
His parents were Michael Murray & Bridget Burke. No other records are public, sorry

Found her listed on the 1911 census of Cork city , Queenie Wakefield age 7 living at house nr 4 Sunview E, Cork urban 3.
Her father being a locomotive engine driver

Knowing the wife of Michael Murray you might be able to order a death or birth certificate for their daughter from the HSE website, http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/1/bdm/Certificates/

Hannah Josephine Wakefield was born 5th November 1903 at Barrack Street, Mallow Co.Cork, parents Matthew Wakefield & Ellen Condon.
A note on her baptism register mentions that she remarried on 20 February 1975 to a Robert Casey

The date that Queenie remarried is wrong on the record it should read 20 Feb 1955 not 1975

A Ellen M Murray was born March 1934 in Cork city, mothers lastname Wakefield, as there were no other Wakefields married to Murray's I think this could be the daughter, even though the birthyear is off by 5 years. No other children listed for this couple
