Hello from the USA!  I'm looking for connections or parish records to research for Michael Newell who married Mary Byrne on 17 Dec 1864, Chapel Tuam.  Michael's father's name was John and Mary's father's name was Patrick.  The Marriage record states that Mary Byrne was of Kilconly).  Some of the children, Patrick Joseph Newell, my great grandfather being one was born in 1877 Cloonkeely, Tuam. Any cousins out there or any help stirring me in the right direction to find out more of my ancestry would be greatly appreciated.  Go raibh maith agaibh!

  • I'm wondering if this could be your Mary; while she was from Kilconly when married she would have been 19 then and the family may have moved after her birth/baptism
