The National Museum of Ireland Country Life is delighted to take part in Heritage Day at Portumna Castle & Gardens and will be demonstrating basic weaving and wool spinning.
The Good Old Days
Visitors can get a closer look at objects from the museum’s handling collection.
Furniture Upcycled will be demonstrated by Gerry Byrne from “The Cottage Store”, Portumna.
Visit various stands and demonstrations such as basket making, children’s crafts etc.
The Western Veteran & Vintage Motor Club will be showing acollection of vintage cars along the castle avenue.
