Sullivans and Fitzgeralds

I found Tinnahalla (actually Tinnyhally now) which is in Killorglin civil parish. I could not find Callinfersy in Killorglin parish so maybe it was a place name that was subsumed into another townland when they standarized the townlands in 1851. However, I Googled Callinafercy and there is an area now near Killorglin called Callinafercy (couple houses for sale if you are interested).

I did look at the Tithes for Killorglin parish and there were about 80 Sullivan records but only one Timothy in Tullig More. The Tithes were likely from the late 1820s. The Griffiths for Kerry was 1852. Here are all the Killorglin records,

Your best bet for searching further back would be the church records but Sullivan and Fitzgerald are very common as you know.  www.irishgenealogy.ie for Killorglin records back to 1798.

You may be able to find relevant death records. Unfortunately this is only an index so you will need to apply for the certs..ask for 'for research only' as they are cheaper.
