My great-great grandmother was Elizabeth Bennett. She came to the US in the early 1880s. Her father was William Bennett. That is all I know. I thought I found out somewhere that she came from Webbsborough, but I can not remember where I saw the information. It may be wrong. She was born (supposedly) about 1860. Any thoughts about how to search for her? Thanks!

Roots Ireland has an 1859 record in Cavan (Church of Ireland) and an 1861 in Cork (RC). You would need to determine her mother's maiden name in order to confirm either of these records. If you the the Bennett religious denomination you can eliminate one of the records.
