  • Dear Pauline

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the long delay in getting back to you.

I haven't been able to locate a baptism for a Joseph Ryan in Kilkenny with a father John. There are a couple of marriage options for a John married to a wife first name Catherine in Kilkenny in the time prior to Joseph's approximate year of birth but it may be that none of them are relevant.

Do you know if Joseph had any siblings? Have you been able to locate a death record for him?

    Best wishes

  • Hi Clare

Thank you for getting back to me unforantly I do not know any other infomation on Joseph Anthony Ryan other than what was in my 1st message.

I have not as yet found any relations to him it is like looking for a tiny needle in a giant haystack.

I have had my DNA done with Ancestry in the hope somebody might be looking as well as me

    Regards
