    Welcome to ireland Reaching Out!

Not sure what information you need. I did locate the 1901 and 1911 census records for Robert. The family lived in Kiltown townland in Ferns civil parish. The only civil marriage index record I could locate was in 1918. See below. Possibly his wife was Annie Hinch or Anne Gowen. You would need to get a copy of the actual record to confirm the name.

We do not have a parish liaison in Ferns but over time someone might see your post and comment. From my review of our messages, we are getting a lot of family connections established but it takes time.

  • Hi.

I'm pretty sure Robert was my great great uncle. I am the granddaughter of his nephew, also Robert and son of Thomas. My mum would often visit her great uncle Bob (Robert) when she was a child and a teenager. She would travel from Liverpool on the ferry and Bob would collect her from the railway station. My mum was born in 1931 so this must have been post war 40s.
