Welcome to the Epic Journeys exhibition, we want your contribution! We invite all people of Irish ancestry, both in Ireland and around the world, to help us build a picture of those who traveled through Ellis Island to start a new life. You can contact us with a contribution at info@irelandxo.com

Epic Journeys began as a pilot project in 2015 telling the story of people who set out from the parish of Tulla, Co. Clare in the late 19th Century and passed through the Immigration Station at Ellis Island before scattering to all parts of North America to begin a new life. During 2016 a number of additional parishes became involved, adding to the information already available as well as providing details of journeys taken from other parts of Ireland. Stories and photographs from the parishes of Lackagh, Co. Galway, Bourney, Co. Tipperary, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and Mallow, Co. Cork show the diverse range of men, women and children leaving to start a new life in the US.
