The exhibits herein give an indication of what life was like in Ireland over the past 100 years. Many changes have taken place with the advance of technology both in the home and on the farm. The categories addressed include Home and Hearth, Work Outside the Home, School, Death and Memorial.
Many of the listed items and objects are still visible in the Irish landscape or in Irish homes and are symbols of a particular way of life. These aspects of our heritage should be retained as an important part of our culture.
