She was the second oldest of the Daly family of Glassganny, Castlebridge, Co. Wexford.
Her father was John Daly and her mother Peggy Learry. She had 2 sisters Helen (Mrs Lacey ) New York.
Mary Mrs Leonard Newtown Mt Kennedy, Co. Wiclow.Her brothers were Stephen and Nicholas. She married Thomas Murphy in 1879 and they had 8 children , 7 lived into adulthood.Anastasia or Anty as she was called was a great gardener and the daffodils she planted the year of her marriage were there up tp the 1980's.
She died on Jan.23rd 1919 in the new cottage and is buried in Screen Cemetery with her parents JOHN and Peggy .
She was a very good-looking woman. She was 4th generation of the Daly's to live in Glassganny.
