Andrew King was born on 20th April 1898 in Dunfanaghy, Co-Donegal. His parents were Thomas and Pheobe King.
Andrew was part of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Reg number 27247.
Andrew married my great aunt Mary Boyle on 20th June 1916 at the Convent in Letterkenny, Co Donegal Mary and Andrew had one son Andrew King.
Sadly Andrew was a casualty of war and he lost his life on the 19th May 1917, and unfortunately no body was recovered for a proper burial.
Pte Andrew King is commemorated at Arras Memorial Cemetary, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, PLOT: Bay 6. MEMORIAL ID124731288
