Bridget Nohilly was born in Ballynacreg townland in the Civil Parish of Cummer, near Corofin in County Galway.

Bridget, known as Delia, married William Colleran and lived in Annaghkeen House in Headford in the parish of Killursa.

In this picture, she is shown with 2 of her children Jimmy, who was born in 1898 and Maud who was born in 1901. Jimmy later emigrated to Philadelphia and Maud to London, where she trained as a nurse and served in North Africa in WW2.

  • On the marriage record attached it says William Colleran's father is James not John, is this just an error or was his father actually John?
