Miss Catherine Doherty of Grovehall in County Donegal left a will in which she bequeathed the 4 children of William Doherty 100 pounds each. I assume William was her brother who emigrated to Philadelphia in 1860.
The 1901 census has her with her mother Catherine and siblings James, Rose Anne and Charles at House #2 in Grovehall, Balyarr Donegal.
