Catherine McFadden was born around 1848. Her parents were Daniel McFadden and Ann Cavanagh McFadden. They lived in Derryreel townland. Catherine emigrated to Philadelphia around 1870. She married Robert Brennan on November 27th 1873 at St. Patrick's church at 20th and Locust Sts. in Philadelphia. Robert Brennan was also a Donegal emigrant from Clonleigh civil parish.
Catherine and Robert had thirteen children but only six survived infancy and one of the six died at age 5. The family lived in South Philadelphia.
Based on sponsors names for their children, Catherine likely had siblings John, Patrick and Mary.
After Robert died in 1912, Catherine lived with her son Daniel and died March 29th 1918 at age 69.
