Charles Haughton was the son of William Houghton of Clonboyher near Newtowngore, Co. Leitrim
In 1866 he married Lorinda Irwin (1836-1920) of Keelrin and raised a family at Cloonboygher.
Children:
He died before the 1901 Census.
His daughter Eliza inherited the family farm and married Robert Vance.
