Seeking information regarding my 3rd GGF Charles (Patrick/James?) Mullen [b. circa 1802] He m. Rosanna Hogan (Hagan?) [b. circa 1809]
Charles is listed as James' father on James' (my 2nd GGF) Newton Massachusetts death record.
James listed Patrick on his 1863 marriage record and Rosanna listed Patrick as her late husband in Newton city directory listings in 1885 thus the name confusion.
It is possible I am looking for Charles Patrick Mullen or Patrick Charles Mullen
Rosanna emigrated (or arrived) in the US without Charles/Patrick (He possibly died at sea or shortly after arriving in the US.) and listed herself as widowed. Charles/Patrick possibly died in Ireland.
New information suggests he may have lived in Newtownstewart townland. Child, James would have been born circa 1832 - 1837.
