Place of migration
Migrated to/Born in UK

Hannah Murphy b 1819 in County Mayo. Her parents were William and Catherine. I have DNA matches that have given me reason to think Hannah was born in Belmullet area. Hannah married John McLean and they had 5 children, Patrick b 1848-1927 (Patrick gives his place of birth in the 1921 census as Kilcommon County Mayo) Michael b 1854-1911, John b 1855-1930, Anthony b 1860-? (all born in Ireland according to census records). The family then migrated to the UK and Hannah was born in Wooler Northumberland in 1863-?.

They eventually settled in Longbenton Northumberland UK.

Hannah became a widow in 1889, living with her son Patrick for some years and then spent the rest of her life with the Little Sisters of the Poor, St Joseph's House in Newcastle upon Tyne. Hannah passed away in 1900.
