Honora Pettit : Short Biography

I am seeking additional information about Pettit family.  Family oral and on-line research: 

Honoria (a/k/a Annie) Pettit was born 1849-50 (or 1839?) in County Roscommon, Ireland in the Townland of Estersnow.  She was born near a cemetery.     Her parents are Richard Pettit and Mary Killelea.    Ricardum Petit married Mariam Killalea on February 23, 1832 in Roman Catholic, Boyle, Roscommon, Ireland.  Honoria’s father was allegedly a schoolteacher.  She allegedly emigrated in 1865 as the United States mourned the death of Abraham Lincoln.  Family oral history indicates that a brother accompanying her on the voyage, but he died at sea..  She died 1922 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
