Any information on the family would be helpful.

Their surname was interchangeable. At times anglecized and other times not.

Elizabeth McGowan's father's name was Myles McGowan and was already deceased before she and James wed.

I am not sure what Nabby is short for. Would it be for Abigail?

As for their children a few came to America (Elizabeth, Cormac, James and Patrick). I don't know if Mary Anne or Catherine wed. For Theresa, I know she was married to Thomas Petit. Margaret was married to Joseph Mahon and passed away after 1941. Our connection is thru Elizabeth (Lizzie). I will post her information soon.
