Migrated to/Born in South Africa

My Grandfather James Jospeh McDonald came to South Africa around 1930. He had contracted TB and it was thought that the warmer climate would be better for his health. Also at the time it was thought that treatment in South Africa was advanced. My grandmother Renee Colombo Harran was a nursing sister and nursed him. They fell in love, but waited to for him to be declared cured before they married. They married in June 1932 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral in Bloemfontein.

My father was born in September 1933. Unfortunately James Joseph contracted Pnuemonia, and due to the weakened state of his lungs died on 16 March 1934. My family were Roman Catholic.

I would love to make contact with any descendents of the family and any additional information. To my knowledge his one sister Evaleen became a nun, I would apprecaite any available information about her.
