Migrated to/Born in USA

Looking for information on James Moreton and wife Jane.  I would imagine born late 1700s as son James was born early 1900's.  I know nothing more.  But the names they named their progeny should help.  James Jr.  Married Barbara Patterson (don't know dates but by 1850 they are living in Detroit Michigan, USA and are married.)  Barbara has (I assume ) 2 brothers Hamilton Patterson and Ovens Patterson.  Sometimes confused or typed as Owens Patterson. ( all legal documentation list "Ovens") Hamilton Patterson and his son were both Undertakers/coroners

James Sr. was a purser/clerk/part owner in a steamship company.  He died in a steamship crash in Lake Erie in 1868. The ship named "the Morning Star"  I know nothing of his Ireland Background.  But assume from my DNA testing that his was primarily Scotish ancestry.

James named his two sons James Alexander Montgomery Moreton (called him Monty), and Edward Hamilton Moreton. ( my gr gr grandfather)  I think they came through Canada to the United States.  Anyway, I found a James and Jane buried Drumlease. his dates 1770-1867. says death in Manorhamilton.  But unsure if these are my ancestors.

But I DNA match to a women who's Patterson's are also from Drumlease so I am assuming this may be my missing Moretons.   Thanks so much.  Anne
