The above was from The Brooklyn Daily Eagle obituary. That is about all i could find about him from rR. There is a James Shea listed in Griffith's in Cappantogher but I do not know if this is my great great grandfather.
James shea emigrated to Massachusetts, married Mary O'Connell in 1859 and by 1863 was living in Greenpoint Brooklyn. His is buried in Calvary Cemetery. They had 4 children John, a policeman, and Patrick, a fireman and 2 daughters. Mary O'Connell Shea died in 1914.
