Jeremiahs parents were dead when left for Australia. Jeremiah was 36 when he left for Australia. He was a Bounty Immigrant. He could could read and write and lived for 40 years in NSW. Jeremiah was a worker at Yarralumla and a tenant farmer at Canberry (the location of his lease is unknown. In 1847 he gave a donation to the Irish famine relief. That was collected by Mr Mowle the manager at Yarralumla. In the 1850s he is a resident of Duck Flat, Boro (close to Tarago).In 1874 he has the mail contract between Boro and Muloon. He died in 1881 at Guises Flat, Williamsdale, presumably at his son James home. Grevilles Post Office Directory 1872 - BORO has a KEEFE Jeremiah farmer Boro.
