I know that John Britton married Mary Chinnery Folingsby on 22 May 1830 in Ballyhannon, co. Donegal. I also know that he was a Medical Practitioner (MD) a qualified Doctor of Medicine. They had at least one child, Ellen Chinnery Britton b.c. 1831 and she married John le Gros, also a qualified Doctor of medicine in Parish in 1860. He was my Great Grandfather, so John Britton was my Great Great Grandfather. His death was recorded on Athlone, co. Roscommon on 21 April 1834 and a brief obituary was given about him in a local newspaper - but sadly it did not mention his age at death or his origin., so I am stuck, not knowing his place of birth or origins any help would be much appreciated.
