I believe he was born in County Clare as he was Babtised by Rev. Lucas in the Parish of Kilrush. He married Maria Pilkington 5 Feb. 1878 In Ailldabore, Kilmaley, Clare. His Father is WIlliam Gordon 1791- 15 Sep 1877, Kilrush and his mother Anne_____ 1800- 26 Dec 1875, Kilrush. John had 7 children 4 boys and 3 girls. 6 of the children moved to USA and one son remained in Kilrush, Thomas Gordon. 1901, 1911 census have been found. His marriage record, death record and babtisim records have been found as well as the location of the family farm just outside of Kilrush at the top of the hill on the road to Kilkee, next door to the Brew's. I'm looking for siblings and his mother's maiden name.
