Lt.-Col. Sir Morgan George Crofton succeeded as the 6th Baronet of Moville Castle, Co. Leitrim on the death of his brother Hugh Denis (who died unmarried in 1902). He married twice, firstly to Francis Margaret Irby in 1905 and secondly to Adèle Violet Blanche Donaldson in 1919. He was decorated many times for his war-time involvement and was a member of the Irish Guards.
