Death of Mrs. Margaret Holland, Kilfane. (1915) One of the oldest and most highly respected residents of the parish of Tullaherin passed away on Thursday the 9th April, in the person of Mrs. Margaret Holland, Kilfane, Thomastown. The deceased had attained the remarkable age of 94 years and had the unique privalege of being a great-grandmother previous to her death. In her last illness she was constantly attended by Rev. W. Connolly, P.P., and Rev. A. Lowry, C.C. Tullaherin, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted relatives, to whom we tender our sincere sympathy. On Saturday the funeral took place to Kilfane. The attendance was large and representative of all creeds and classes in the district.

Thanks for your question. I am a descendant (great granddaughter) of Margaret Holland's youngest sister, Ann(astasia) Meaney who migrated to South Australia .
A descendant of Margaret Holland sent me the pdf about 15 years ago. He still lived in Kilfane at the time. Sadly, he is now deceased. He compiled a large family tree.
Some of the information was gleaned from his aunt who was a keen family historian.
