Margaret J. Knox is my GGG grandmother. She came from Convoy to the United States in 1838 on the ship Carouge with two sisters, Mary and Sarah. They also had a brother, Matthew who served in the Mexican - American War. They settled in Ohio for awhile. I can't find any info on their parents.
Margaret was born in Ireland. She came to Brown Township, Carroll County, Ohio sometime before 1840.
She married Matthew Carson on October 12, 1840, in Carroll County, Ohio. The couple remained in Brown Township, Carroll County, Ohio until 1860.
