Margaret (22y) and her sister Catherine (19y) arrived as Government Immigrants aboard the ship Coromandel, which left South Hampton Sept 20 1854 and arrived at Pt Adelaide, South Australia Jan 8 1855.
Ships record stated they were from County Cork Ireland.
After working as domestic servants for a while they both married.
Catherine married Michael Byrne on Jan 19 1860 and Margaret married Thomas Collins on Jan 10 1867. Both marriaged Certificates stated a John Ahern as their father.
