Any information on Mary Redmond's parents and/or siblings? or more specific location? I'm trying to trace the family of my GGgrandfather Andrew, parents William Redmond, born 1789, & Hannah (Murphy) Redmond. Andrew's siblings that I know of:are Margaret, b 1795, and Mary, b 1796. I believe the family is from Garridanniel, Litter parish (aka Kilmuckridge). Andrew and wife Anastrasia emigrated to Canada ~1826. Could this Mary Redmond be the daughter of Mary b. 1796?

Hello. I don’t have anything on Mary’s parents or siblings, I wish I did. I found a marriage record for Mary in Wexford, Ireland I will keep researching and if I come up with more, I will be in touch please let me know if you come up with anything more also Debbie

Debora, thanks for your reply. We're both a little stuck! I go to Ireland in June with a couple days in Wexford, but I suspect it will be just driving around and imagining rather than opportunity to learn anything specific. The online database of parish records is much more efficient!
I can't help but notice your last name Cote. A friend from Maine has that name. I know my Redmond clan moved from Ireland to Canada (Frampton, just outside Quebec), through Maine down to Massachusetts, my birthplace. I can't help but think about French-Canadian connections. Did your ancestors also emigrate to Canada?

Hello. That I know of so far, Mary Redmond and Stephen Hanton did not immigrate. Their daughter Mary Anne Hanton married Edward Jordan in May 1861 then immigrated in 1862/1863 and ended up in Hartford, Connecticut.

My wife Patricia is a decendant of Stephen Hanton and Mary Redmond, I do not have information on the family ancestors but I have information on the decendants, I was told that someone in the family once traced Jordans back to Charlamane, though they did not remember who. If I find anything I will be sure to send information, PS I have had correspondance with Debora I believe through Find A Grave.
