B. 1840 D. 1917 Resident in Ardnaglug when he married Ellen Gately from Cranberry Island on Feb 8th 1869 at the RC Chapel in Moore. His father was Malachy Naghten, a farmer. Michael was a National School teacher and a farmer. Ellen's father was Michael Gately also a farmer. Michael Naughten and Ellen had 10 children while living in Attyrory. Ellen died in 1913. Their grave is at Kilbegly Cemetery.
