Migrated to/Born in Australia

Patrick O'Brien was said to be a farmer.  His death certificate said that his parents were Patrick, also a farmer, and Bridget.

He married Bridget Sexton c1830 in Scarriff, Clare.  Their children were Daniel Millison c 1831, Mary c 1833, Patrick c1835, Anne c1836, Sarah c 1840, Michael c 1841 and John Boromund c1847, all born Scarriff.

Michael was said to have been baptised on the 4th March 1842 at Scarriff and have been an assistant teacher c 1855 at the school in Scariff.

Mary emigrated to South Australia in 1850, most likely on the British Empire.  She married Robert Watt Thompson in 1851.  Anne married James McNamara in Scariff in 1856 and they went to Victoria, probably on the Sunshine arriving Jan 1857.  They went to Taradale where Mary and Robert were then living (the Thomsons later went to NSW).  Patrick Snr and Bridget arrived on the Negotiator in 1857 with Sarah, Michael and John.

Sarah died in 1863 at Taradale and Daniel was also said to be deceased at the time of Patrick Snr's death.  Anne McNamara d August 1867.  The rest were all still living when Bridget died - Patrick Jnr remains the one I have yet to trace.
