Samuel Martin was born in 1815, the son of Robert and Eleanor Martin and  he married to Ellen Elizabeth Dawson daughter of James Dawson and Eliza Dunn  of Correvan. Samuel and Elizabeth leased land in Corrachulter but the Martin family (Robert, Joseph, Richard and William lived and farmed land at Correvan. Samuel and Elizabeth had 5 children, one son named James Dawson Martin born in 1854, and daughters Margaret Ellen born 1845, Mary Eleanor born 1857, Susan Elizabeth born 1865 and Emily Frances born 1867. James and Susan died at a young age and the three other daughters emigrated to NZ, living in the Waikato region. Samuel died in Corrachulter in July 1893 aged 78 years of general debility. His nephew Robert W McConkey of Tattincake was present at his death and his wife Elizabeth joined her daughters in NZ in 1894.   • Samuel lived in Corrachulter Townland and died there in 1893. Samuel was a farmer. He had 4 daughters and one son. After his death his wife Elizabeth travelled to NZ to live with her daughters in the Waikato region of NZ. Does anyone have any records indicating his parents names?
