Seeking information on my great-grandfather Thomas Duignan born c. 1849 in Kilmore, Co. Roscommon to Dominic Duignan and Mary (Cumming??).

Thomas a widower, married his second wife (my great-grandmother) Margaret Murphy, Tully, Kilmore daughter of James Murphy. and Elizabeth Beirne in Dangan Church on 24th November 1879 and emigrated to Scotland where they resided until c.1900 when they returned to live at Danesfort House, Co. Roscommon.

I have little or no information on my great-grandfather's family i.e. I do not know where/when he was born or if he had any siblings - I cannot find any Civil birth registration or Church Baptism record.  I found my great-grandparents names from Thomas's first marriage registration  in Port Glasgow, Scotland in 1872 - Dominic would appear to have been  living at that time and his occupation was listed as 'Butler' - I am unable to locate a death registration for Dominic though I believe he may have resided close to Kilmore Church of Ireland - my great-grandparents Thomas and Margaret are interred in  Kilmore Cemetery.

Any further information would be appreciated and also any information on the Murphy family of Tully, Kilmore - my great-grandmother's siblings were Patrick (b.1864) married Mary Lowe; James (b.1869) married Bridget McLoughlin; Mary Elizabeth (b.1877) married Henry Cronin
