THis is a picture of my Grandfather Thomas Geraghty who was born in Gorteenacammdil in the parish of Kitullagh, Cloonfad. Co.Roscommon in 1867.
He left Ireland in search of work and came to Leicester in England in the late 1890's

Hi Martin,
Great to see you feed-back & it does serve to clarify the DOB's of two of my great aunts - Honor 1871 & Catherine 1864, which is much appreciated as I have never been able to trace them beyond this generation at all. Strangly their christian names did carry on in our line albeit variations e.g. Norah & Kathleen/Kate/Katie.
I am also aware of brother John Geraghty although I had his DOB as 1864 (married to Anne Reagan) together with a three genrations beyond this some of whom I have known.
No trace of Bridget in this generation although there is in the next one.
So, where abouts are you? & I wWould be delighted to hear more from you.
