  • Hi there

Do you have details as to Timothys birthplace or christening place ? Wondering if he could be related to  my GG gmother Mary Ward born 1821 in Moylough, Galway father was Bartholomew Ward ( Joiner / Carpenter ) as per her marriage  license in 1854 , she moved to England and married my GGGfather John  Dominick Doddy (b. 1801) from Sligo.

  • Hello,

My great grandfather Timothy Ward was born April 1,1836 in New Inn ,Parish of Clonfert,Galway. (There are variants of the parish names i.e. Bullaun.Grange.Killaan) He was baptized on May22,1836. His parents were Michael Ward and Mary Ruane, the sponsor was Catherine Cloonan. There are many Ward families from this area of Loughres and perhaps there is a connection ,maybe a cousin, sibling, etc. I don't know of any of my great grandfather's siblings or relations but it would be wonderful if you managed to find some thread. At any rate I wish you best of luck. We always keep looking.

    Slan anish,

    Pat
