Ballybur Castle is a Tower House built by Richard Comerford in circa 1588. It is one of three castles built by the Comerford family in the area. It comprises five stories.
The castle was purchaed by the Gray family in 1979 who lovingly restored the building to its current state. All renovations have been carried out with incredible respect for the original construction.
Today Ballybur Castle is operational as a Wedding Venue and Guest House and is available to rent as an entire building.
