Court House, Sligo Town

St. John'sSligo

Court House, Sligo Town c.1879

This image was taken about a year after the courthouse was built. Today, it is an obvious feature on the road into the town with its gothic style, said to be one of the best examples in the country. It was designed by Rawson Carroll of Dublin, who was educated in Co. Wicklow.
