Craobh Fiachra aka Creeve Monastery (Craebh-ghrellain; Craebh-mór) was an early monastic site, founded in the early 6th century by St Finnian of Clonard. It was occupied by the third order of the Franciscans.

In 1582, a lease of its possessions was granted by Queen Elizabeth I by Bryan MacDermott.

In 1837, Lewis mentions "a friary of the third order of Franciscans was founded here, of which scarcely any remains are visible".
